This essay works as yet another layer of the public walk Decolonial Flânerie 2022 and comes in the form of a subjective, poetic, and theoretical conversation between three of the co-organizers of the Decolonial Flânerie—Melanie Garland, Carla J. Maier, and Adela Taleb. The authors recapitulate on the sonic, artistic, and political aspects of the public walk, and reflect on the recording and listening process of the edited audio walk that was produced from audio recordings of the event. This contribution itself has a performative dimension: the graphic and textual elements scattered over and accompanying the essay pages may be used as a theoretical stimulus and a methodical guide for decolonial walking and listening, in any city, at any time.
Dieser Essay ist eine weitere Ebene des öffentlichen Spaziergangs Decolonial Flânerie 2022 und hat die Form eines subjektiven, poetischen und theoretischen Gesprächs zwischen drei der Mitorganisatorinnen der Decolonial Flânerie - Melanie Garland, Carla J. Maier und Adela Taleb. Die Autorinnen rekapitulieren die klanglichen, künstlerischen und politischen Aspekte des öffentlichen Spaziergangs und reflektieren den Aufnahme- und Hörprozess des editierten Audiospaziergangs, der aus den Tonaufnahmen der Veranstaltung entstanden ist. Dieser Beitrag hat selbst eine performative Dimension: Die grafischen und textlichen Elemente, die über die Essay-Seiten verstreut sind und diese begleiten, können als theoretische Anregung und methodische Anleitung für dekoloniales Gehen und Zuhören genutzt werden, in jeder Stadt, zu jeder Zeit.
